Corporate Advocacy
We provide communications counsel to the company’s top executives as well as lead client's communications with emplyees, the news media, advocacy groups and the general public. We actively engage in issue resolution. We often influence legislation or administrative bodies, counterparts, competitors on behalf of our clients through: arguments formulation, analysis, advocacy, media campaigns. We are the only PR firm on the market that closly works and exchanges expertise with top tier law firms in Poland.
We have recently assisted the Association for the Defense of Polish Entrepreneurs which brings together enterprises injured by toxic option losses. In the early part of 2009 concerns about speculative bets on the zloty, which went wrong when it plunged in value, prompted some business leaders and politicians to call for government action to stem possible massive losses. The financial regulator has estimated that combined exposure to the toxic options surpassed 1 billion, leading more than 5,000 companies to the edge of bankruptcy. Our aim together with the association was to re-launch this debate on foreign currency options among politicians, bankers and lawyers due to previous misscommunications and unreliable surveys.
This was the most boiling public topic in the given time period. Our PR actions included: preparation of press releases on the current situation relating to the business problem of currency options; regulating the legislative process of acts regulating the problem of currency options; organizing and hosting press conferences reserved for representatives of the political environment as well as the legal and business community. The final outcome was that all activities performed during this campaign led to vast amount of material being published in a wide range of prominant Polish media sources, which reignited the discussion of currency options which had previously been considered a non-important issue. The procedures on the legislative proposals for the adopted acts relating to currency options continues.
